Andrew M. Potteiger said KRE Security/Investigations Inc. was contracted for a full-time, unarmed security guard for about a month during school hours, in 2015, after a heroin overdose took place on campus.
Potteiger said that KRE provides security to the district for sporting events.
“We don’t have a local police department, and we haven’t figured out what to do yet,” he said. He has arranged for the state police to come in with dogs on random drug searches.
